Aryn Lill Diemand
Beginning when she was just seven years old, growing up in Northern Minnesota, Aryn dreamed of becoming an acclaimed, professional artist. She followed this passion through to college, where she earned an A.A. degree in Fashion Design from the renowned Fashion Institute of Design & Marketing (FIDM) in Los Angeles and a B.A. in Studio Arts, with an emphasis on Illustration, from Metro State University in St. Paul.
Her professional career has found Aryn working as a freelance illustrator, muralist, and art instructor, even starting her own art instruction company, The Blue Fox, in 2013. In addition, she is currently working towards publishing her very first children’s book.
Aryn began her studies by drawing and observing the human form, but, over time, she became more creatively stimulated by wildlife, dreamy skyscapes, and dynamic landscapes. She has a passion for protecting animals and the environment, and feels compelled to make that a point of interest in her work.
Some of Aryn’s greatest influences include M.C. Escher, Eyvind Earle, Charles Schultz, and Dr. Seuss.
