Community Education’s winter/spring guidebook, which contains ECFE classes, is available for pick-up at Arbor View and Willow Lane Early Childhood Centers. You may also view the guidebook online. To help us serve more families, class registration is limited. Each child may register for one ECFE class (7+ weeks) and one specialty class: Adventures with Dad BIPOC Parenting Community Circle of Security Familias Hispanohablantes LGBTQIA+ Parenting Community Saturdays with ECFE classes ECFE supports parents and children (from birth to age eight) on a journey of growth and discovery. Early Childhood ScreeningAbout Early Childhood Screening Early Childhood Screening is a free service for children ages 3 to 5 years old. Screening includes: A check of vision, hearing, height, weight and developmental progress. A review of immunizations records and family information. An individual review with parents/guardians of their child's progress and needs. Early Childhood Screening identifies needs that may require special attention before a child enters school. IN-PERSON APPOINTMENT: New screening appointments are typically added on Tuesday's at 9 a.m. Parent/guardian requests an in-person screening appointment for their child at a school location. A unique childcare and school readiness program that jumpstarts your child’s skills for kindergarten. Childcare experiences that support early learning needs of children in a school setting. A tuition based, 40-week program that follows the school year calendar. Weekly tuition is $303.00. We are open on most non-school days, and these days are included in your tuition. Program hours are 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, following the school year calendar. Osseo Area Schools Employee Giving CampaignOsseo Area Schools Employee Giving Campaign will take place from October 6 through October 17. During the campaign, you have an opportunity to voluntarily make a fully tax-deductible donation to District 279 Foundation and/or Greater Twin Cities United Way. Both of these organizations serve children and families who live in the communities served by our school district. District 279 Foundation enhances Osseo Area Schools dedication to all scholars by funding innovative projects and recognizing the achievements of scholars and staff at the annual Investment in Youth celebration. Greater Twin Cities United Way believes when we unite as changemakers we can disrupt systems and address the challenges no one can solve alone. Together, we will create a more equitable community where all people thrive regardless of income, race, or place. There is also an option to designate a non-profit of your choosing through Greater Twin Cities United Way. Osseo Area Schools has a history of being one of the highest performing school districts in the Greater Twin Cities United Way service area.
