Canvas Fun: Pet Portraits Friday Camp

Join us for a morning of fun and creative painting where you will learn how to paint your favorite pet on canvas with acrylic paints. Learn basic painting techniques and mix colors to create a vibrant piece of art. Once you sign up for the camp, email nwmpls@kidzart.com a high-quality digital photo of your pet (one pet per canvas). KidzArt will transfer each photo to an 11x14" canvas then walk you through the steps to creating your final masterpiece!

Lisa Van Wyk, a passionate art educator for over 19 years, is the owner of Art Innovators & KidzArt. These enrichment programs are Lisa's way of fostering the creative spark in minds of all ages. With a B.A. in Fine Arts from Hamline University and a M.A. in Art Education from the University of Minnesota, Lisa brings a strong foundation in artistic practice and pedagogy to her teaching. But for Lisa, art is more than just technique. It's about embracing the freedom to explore, to take risks, and to trust your own creative vision.
