Woodworking
Builders create several hands‑on woodworking projects, including a picture frame, race car, catapult, and trophy display base. Learn how to measure, cut, sand, and paint, and take home all completed projects. This Youth Enrichment League (YEL) camp teaches safe use of basic hand tools, such as hammers, nails, screwdrivers, measuring tape, and T‑squares. Safety is the top priority. No power tools are used.
NOTE: Participants should be comfortable cutting using a small saw as well as using other hand tools. Students should wear clothes that can get paint on them.
