Online: Speak Up, Stand Out: Public Speaking for Beginners

Do you get nervous speaking in front of a group? You're not alone. This beginner-friendly class is designed to help you build confidence and improve your public speaking skills in a supportive environment.
Whether you are giving presentations at work, reading your writing aloud, speaking at community events, or preparing for a special occasion, you will learn practical techniques for communicating clearly and confidently. Participants will learn how to organize ideas, speak with purpose, manage speaking anxiety, and connect with an audience. Through simple activities and helpful guidance, you will gain skills that can be used in both personal and professional settings.
By the end of the class, you will feel more comfortable sharing your ideas, speaking in front of others, and communicating with confidence.
Instructor LeeAnne Krusemark is a former journalist, author, former Chamber of Commerce president, and experienced public speaker. She has presented programs nationwide for organizations including the Department of the Army and the Kidney Foundation and has served as an event emcee for community and professional events.
