Lion King Kids – Osseo Middle SchoolTheatreJoin us this spring for an exciting theater experience with Disney’s The Lion King KIDS! This musical tells the story of Simba and his journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again. Students will explore themes like courage, friendship, and finding who you are. The show includes favorite songs from the Broadway and animated movie, such as “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” “He Lives in You,” and “Hakuna Matata.” This class is great for anyone who loves to sing, dance, and act—or wants to try theater for the first time. Every student will have a role in the show, and no experience is needed. Auditions for lead roles will happen on the first day. Costumes are provided, but students should bring their own base layer. Note: Students in grades 6–8 who do not attend OMS are also welcome to participate. Rehearsals will officially begin at 3 p.m. The program is led by trained theater professionals who create a fun and supportive environment. Students will build confidence, learn teamwork, and develop leadership skills while putting on a fantastic show. Space is limited to 50 participants, and pre-registration is required. Tech rehearsal is on Tuesday, April 28 from 3-5:30 PM at Maple Grove Middle School. Performances (free) on Friday, May 1 at 7:00 PM (students arrive at 4:30 pm) & Saturday, May 2 at 2:00 PM (students arrive at 11:45 am) at Maple Grove Middle School.Youth W-SP 26
