DBT is a skills-based approach that combines mindfulness, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness tools to help you stay grounded, build stronger relationships, and navigate stress more skillfully. This class may be a good fit for you if you want to manage overwhelming emotions more effectively, improve communication and strengthen relationships, feel more grounded during moments of stress, or stop feeling like you have to figure everything out on your own. Meaningful change is often easier and more sustainable when you don’t do it alone. Learn and practice DBT skills alongside others working toward similar goals. Each session introduces 2–3 practical skills you can apply right away, along with guided discussion on how those skills are used in real-life situations. This combination of learning and practice helps skills take hold and create lasting change. You’ll learn how to stay grounded during emotional overwhelm, communicate your needs clearly and effectively, and set boundaries with confidence while responding thoughtfully instead of reacting impulsively. This class is beginner-friendly and does not require prior therapy experience. It is educational and skills-based (not group therapy or crisis support). If you are currently in crisis or need immediate mental health support, this class may not be the best fit. Understanding Your Dreams and Their MessagesHealth & WellnessThe class was designed for those who are interested in interpreting their dreams for the purpose of raising their consciousness and improving their life. It is for people who wish to decipher the symbols and messages in dreams to better understand themselves and the choices they make. The facilitator takes a light-hearted approach to understanding the world of dreams in a relaxed environment. Topics will include historical dream research, what are dreams, how we can remember them, basic dream types, general and unique dream symbols, dream messages and signs, understanding dream content, and a dream interpretation activity for those participants that bring to class a recent or reoccurring dream. You will receive a dream interpretation guide to help with the process and will also take home a copy of the facilitator’s slides so you are able to revisit the material. Why dreams may be important to you: Dreams can provide guidance and healing of the body, mind, and spirit. Dreams can provide direction in family, business, and financial matters, including career and academics. Dreams can provide encouragement, inspiration, and creative solutions to problems.
