ThinkStretch Summer Workbook ProgramAcademic AssistanceThe ThinkStretch Summer Workbook Program helps students stay engaged and continue learning during the summer months. Workbooks include 8 weeks of reading, writing, and math practice, plus one bonus activity. The program is designed for students in Pre-K through Grade 6 and supports skill review in a simple, consistent format. Each workbook comes with a parent guide that includes answer keys, activity ideas, and additional resources. Students also receive an achievement medal. When registering, please indicate your child’s current school. Workbooks will be delivered to your child’s school during the last week of school. Families who live outside the district may pick up their workbooks at the Educational Service Center instead. Register for the grade level that best matches your child’s learning needs. Workbooks should not be returned to your child's school. Understanding Bunions: Causes, Care and ControlHealth & WellnessBunions are a common foot problem, but many people don’t fully understand what causes them or how to treat them. In this class, you’ll learn what bunions are, why they form, and how your shoes and the way you walk (biomechanics) can make a difference. We’ll explore simple lifestyle changes, gentle exercises, and ways to improve foot alignment that can help reduce pain and slow bunion growth. You’ll also learn when it might be time to consider orthotics or surgery—and how to know what’s right for you. This class is a great chance to ask questions in a safe, supportive space and walk away with practical tips to feel more comfortable and confident. Important Note: Attendance at the Foot Foundations workshop is highly encouraged for everyone who wishes to get the most benefit from any of the other foot workshops.
