Child and Babysitting SafetyHealthThe Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from the American Safety and Health Institute (approved by the American Pediatrics Association) gives everything you need to know for safe and successful babysitting. You will learn the responsibilities of being a prepared, safe, responsible and professional babysitter. Topics include supervision, behavior guidance, proper feeding and diapering techniques, personal safety, basic first aid, medical emergencies, and fire safety. Dolls, bottles and diaper supplies will be provided at class for hands-on participation. Cricket® Design Space 101Arts & CreativityThinking about buying a Cricut® Explore or newer machine—or already have one and don’t know where to start? This class begins with the foundation: Cricut® Design Space. Through instructor demonstration, you will learn how to navigate this online program, explore ready‑to‑make designs, and create custom projects. Participants will leave class with one completed paper project and one vinyl project. Participants are asked to bring a laptop with Cricut® Design Space downloaded prior to class. There is also an option to follow along with the instruction and create your own project during class; however, projects created during this option will not be printed in class and can be printed at home using your own machine. Dance Combo: Ballet, Jazz & Lyrical (Grades K-5)DanceOsseo Area Schools Community Education is partnering with Dance Unlimited to offer a fun, high-quality after-school dance program. Dancers of all skill levels are welcome! Classes focus on building skills while fostering a positive and supportive environment. Students will learn ballet, jazz, and lyrical dance, practice basic techniques, improve their abilities, and learn short routines. A dance recital will be held on May 8, 2027 (time and location TBD). Program Details: Dance attire is encouraged (leotard or form-fitting shirt with shorts or a skirt; no denim)Appropriate shoes are required; ballet shoes are required for combo classesMonthly tuition will be charged on the 1st of each month to the credit/debit card used at registration, for the 2026–2027 school year (September 2026–May 2027) Fees: Recital fee: $50 (due at registration; non-refundable)Costume fee: $120 (2 costumes), charged on December 1, 2026, along with monthly tuition (non-refundable)Recital tickets: $20 (available in May) Policies: Cancellation Policy: Dance is a full-year commitment. Defensive Driving Course: Saving Money - Saving LivesCPR & SafetyIf you're 55 or older, you can take this easy class to help lower your car insurance costs and become a safer driver. Minnesota law says insurance companies must give you a 10% discount for three years if you complete a state-approved defensive driving course. This class is taught by trained instructors and takes place at the Educational Service Center. You don’t need to take a test or do any driving. When you finish, you’ll get a certificate to give to your insurance company. This course is offered in partnership with the Minnesota Safety Council.Adult Fall 26 -
