The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from the American Safety and Health Institute (approved by the American Pediatrics Association) gives everything you need to know for safe and successful babysitting. You will learn the responsibilities of being a prepared, safe, responsible and professional babysitter. Topics include supervision, behavior guidance, proper feeding and diapering techniques, personal safety, basic first aid, medical emergencies, and fire safety. Dolls, bottles and diaper supplies will be provided at class for hands-on participation. You will receive a certification card and a downloadable handbook. *Bring a nut-free snack and beverage to class.

You will sculpt, roll, coil, and carve as you create fun projects like silly puppies, fuzzy hedgehogs, a chocolate layer cake, and more. Using air-dry clay, Model Magic®, and other materials, you will explore a variety of techniques while building confidence and creativity—one masterpiece at a time!

Join us and learn how to create your own comic book! You will learn how to design characters using basic shapes, take a closer look at facial expressions, study perspective, and discover how to create pages that pop! You will leave with a finished story you can share!

Creating Your Estate Plan is designed to help you understand the basics of estate planning so you can consider the options that make the most sense for your specific situation. Participants will learn what to consider when creating a will, the benefits of trusts in estate planning, how to help reduce taxes on estates and how insurance can help protect your family.

Thinking about buying a Cricut® Explore or newer machine—or already have one and don’t know where to start? This class begins with the foundation: Cricut® Design Space. Through instructor demonstration, you will learn how to navigate this online program, explore ready‑to‑make designs, and create custom projects. Participants will leave class with one completed paper project and one vinyl project. Participants are asked to bring a laptop with Cricut® Design Space downloaded prior to class. There is also an option to follow along with the instruction and create your own project during class; however, projects created during this option will not be printed in class and can be printed at home using your own machine. No Cricut® machine is required to attend the class. A $10 supply fee is included in the class fee.

Introduce your little athlete to the game of basketball in a fun, positive, and supportive environment! Through engaging skill-based drills and mini-games, students will learn the basics of dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense. This program is designed to build coordination, confidence, and a love for the game. Basketballs are provided—just bring a water bottle and your energy! Parent participation is optional.

Build basketball skills in a fun, supportive after‑school setting with DASH Sports! Learn fundamentals like dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork through drills, activities, and game play. All skill levels are welcome. You can order a customized Jr. NBA jersey with your favorite team’s logo, your name, and your number for an extra $30 (optional). Classes focus on building skills while fostering a positive and supportive environment. Students will learn ballet, jazz, and lyrical dance, practice basic techniques, improve their abilities, and learn short routines. A dance recital will be held on May 8, 2027 (time and location TBD). If you're 55 or older, you can take this easy class to help lower your car insurance costs and become a safer driver. Minnesota law says insurance companies must give you a 10% discount for three years if you complete a state-approved defensive driving course. This class is taught by trained instructors and takes place at the Educational Service Center. You don’t need to take a test or do any driving. When you finish, you’ll get a certificate to give to your insurance company. This course is offered in partnership with the Minnesota Safety Council.
