Summer guitar lessons will be offered at Rice Lake Elementary. If you want to learn how to play the guitar or continue learning, sign up for guitar lessons this summer with Brandon Wells who has over thirty years of experience playing guitar and bass. He teaches all styles of music - rock, classical, jazz, metal, blues, country, folk, praise and worship, and pop as well as just a basic approach that is applicable for any style of music. Music theory, note reading, music interpretation, composition, music appreciation and music therapy are all a part of his teaching program, which gives his students the tools they need to play guitar, learn the music they love and express their creativity. He has been teaching private lessons since 1997, he taught at Champlin School of Music from 1999-2001, Schmitt Music since 2001 and Pitchfever Music Academy. Students need to bring their own guitar to lessons each week.

Show Them How It’s Done! Choose a character, learn music and choreography and create your own musical! Learn how to properly speak your lines, block a scene, develop your character and much more! Creative theater games are included. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Friends and family are invited to a special performance the final 30 minutes of camp on Thursday, July 2.
