Learn how to make fresh udon noodles from scratch in this hands-on cooking class. Udon noodles are thick, chewy noodles made from wheat flour and are a popular part of Japanese cuisine. During class, you'll mix and prepare noodle dough, then use a traditional knife-cutting technique to create your own noodles.
You'll enjoy your homemade udon prepared two ways: in a comforting noodle soup and as abura udon with chicken. Along the way, you'll learn about different types of flour and the techniques that give various noodles their unique texture and flavor. Vegetarian, vegan, and meat options are available to accommodate dietary preferences. No prior cooking experience is necessary.
