The Menopause Conversation

Understand Your Body. Take Back Your Power. Embrace Your Next Chapter. Find Your Community.

Perimenopause and menopause can bring changes that leave you wondering, “What is happening to me?” But this chapter of life doesn't have to be confusing, isolating, or something you simply endure. The Menopause Conversation is a supportive and empowering class for women who want to understand the changes happening in their bodies and learn how to navigate them with knowledge, confidence, and intention. You'll explore the physical and emotional changes of perimenopause and menopause, discuss practical ways to support your health and well-being, and create an open space for questions, honest conversations, and shared experiences. Most importantly, you'll be surrounded by women who understand—women who are learning, growing, and figuring it out right alongside you. This isn't about turning back the clock or fighting the changes. It's about understanding your body, advocating for yourself, caring for yourself, and stepping confidently into the woman you're becoming. You don't have to navigate this chapter alone—and you don't have to settle for simply getting through it. You deserve to feel informed, supported, and empowered.

My name is Jamie! I come from a long line of tradesmen and have owned and operated my own home improvement business, called Anything But Ordinary, for the past 12 years. I have a degree in carpentry and multiple certificates in faux finishes, concrete floor coatings and home inspections. I have experience and knowledge in all areas of the home and am all about empowering women to be comfortable taking on any home improvement project at the DIY(do-it-yourself) level. Eventually, I would love to offer classes on light electrical and light plumbing and general maintenance of a home. When I am not running my home improvement business I am tending grapevines on my vineyard, traveling this big beautiful world and volunteering with a local animal rescue, working on their education committee to teach youth how to properly care for animals, as well as helping with their local and Texas transports. I am also a board member for a non-profit organization that helps local veterans with their honey-do lists. I love being able to provide multiple communities with a positive presence and am looking forward to working with more Maple Grove and Osseo community members on strengthening their abilities to become empowered and confident in their homes.
