Basic Home Electrical Repair IHome & GardenLearn the basics of your home’s electrical system in this hands-on class. You’ll go over different types of wires, wire sizes (called “gauges”), and how to use them safely. The instructor will show you how to: Strip wire correctly Attach wires to outlets, switches, and light fixtures Use basic testing tools Please bring straight and Phillips screwdrivers, long-nose pliers, and wire strippers if you have them. This class meets in two separate sessions. The instructor recommends signing up for both Part I and Part II at the same time.
