Teen Driver's EducationTeen Driver's EducationSafeway Driving School was selected by Osseo Area Schools and the Community Engagement department to provide teen driver's education. Safeway is the largest driving school in MN, instructing over 9,000 teens this year alone. It has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and is a BBB Accredited Business. Safeway has 90 experienced instructors background checked by the MN Dept. of Public Safety. When creating your account online, please follow the steps below: 1. Enter in your information and submit. 2. Click the family tab and choose to add a relationship. 3. Click child in the drop down menu (as how they are related to you). 4. Add your child's information (as much information as possible so we can support their experience). 5. Search for your Safeway course and register. 6. You can call, stop by the office or go online to register. If you have questions, call Community Education at 763-391-7242. Classroom training can be taken by students who are 14-1/2 years or older and consists of 10 three-hour lessons. Each lesson is independent and can be taken in any order. If a lesson is missed, the student can sign up for make-up lesson on their Safeway account at www.safewaydrivingschool.com. If you miss a lesson, you need to make up the exact lesson you miss. Lesson calendars are all available on Safeway's website at www.safewaydrivingschool.com. Behind-the-wheel training consists of 3 two-hour private lessons that can be scheduled online or by calling Safeway at 651-351-9150. Pick-up and drop-off is at home, school or work. Training is done in a white late-model car with Safeway's "Student Driver" graphics. You may either pay the full $440 upfront or you can pay $280 at registration with $80 due at your 1st behind-the-wheel and $80 at the 2nd behind-the-wheel. Program includes classroom and behind-the-wheel lessons and all class materials. Classroom instruction is 30 hours and behind-the-wheel training is 6 hours. If your student is more than 5 minutes late to class they will not be allowed to participate in that day's lesson. It is for people who wish to decipher the symbols and messages in dreams to better understand themselves and the choices they make. The facilitator takes a light-hearted approach to understanding the world of dreams in a relaxed environment. Topics will include historical dream research, what are dreams, how we can remember them, basic dream types, general and unique dream symbols, dream messages and signs, understanding dream content, and a dream interpretation activity for those participants that bring to class a recent or reoccurring dream. You will receive a dream interpretation guide to help with the process and will also take home a copy of the facilitator’s slides so you are able to revisit the material. Developing a strong vocal technique allows singers to perform a variety of musical styles. These foundational skills include building an awareness of the breath and understanding how the voice works. Each lesson will include time for vocal warmups where you will explore the vocal range and pinpoint specific areas of vocal technique to work on. Then, you will work on songs that fit your interests. This could be pop, musical theater, or classical pieces. Song work will put the skills you build in warmups into practice and give you the chance to work on musicianship and storytelling.
