High Arches and HammertoesHealth & WellnessHigh arches can lead to pain, balance problems, and even hammertoes—but there are ways to feel better. In this workshop, you’ll learn what causes high arches and how they connect to ball-of-foot pain. You’ll practice simple exercises to relax your arches, improve movement, and lower your risk of injury. The goal is to help you build stronger, more comfortable feet that support your whole body. Important Note: Attendance at the Foot Foundations workshop is highly encouraged for everyone who wishes to get the most benefit from any of the other foot workshops. Hip Hop Add-On Class - Spring SessionSportsOsseo Area Schools Community Education is partnering with Dance Unlimited to offer quality after school dance education. All ability levels are welcome with the goal to instill the joy of dance in you through a blend of proper technique and a fun atmosphere. There will be an informal performance the last 15 minutes of the last day of class. Dance attire is encouraged. Leotard or form-fitting shirt, shorts or skirt, no denim. Appropriate shoes are required. Ballet shoes are required for combo classes. Jazz shoes are optional. Tennis shoes are required for Hip Hop A 30-minute Hip Hop class, optional add on to your combo class. Learn hip hop and break dance moves, then put them together for an upbeat routine to perform on the last day. Tennis shoes (for indoor use only) are required. We’ll talk about what to do in case of an emergency, how to use the kitchen safely, how to stay safe online, and how to handle things like sibling arguments or dealing with strangers. If you want to learn how to play the guitar or continue learning, sign up for guitar lessons this summer with Brandon Wells who has over thirty years of experience playing guitar and bass. He teaches all styles of music - rock, classical, jazz, metal, blues, country, folk, praise and worship, and pop as well as just a basic approach that is applicable for any style of music. Music theory, note reading, music interpretation, composition, music appreciation and music therapy are all a part of his teaching program, which gives his students the tools they need to play guitar, learn the music they love and express their creativity. He has been teaching private lessons since 1997, he taught at Champlin School of Music from 1999-2001, Schmitt Music since 2001 and Pitchfever Music Academy.
